Rush

UW RUSH PROCESS

At most Universities there is a summer rush week where incoming freshmen attend rush events, meet brothers, and sign with a fraternity in a one week time period.  The UW does not have a summer rush week.  Instead, we enjoy informal recruitment (RUSH) where incoming freshmen, transfer students, and/or upperclassmen can start rushing at any point during the year.  Incoming freshmen usually start to rush in summer, but the most proactive start to rush/sign with fraternities in the spring before their senior year is over.
